Chartermarque was established in October 2007 by Scott Morton and Stuart Watson following their departure from the specialist pension consultancy practice of ‘big four’ accountants KPMG. Their combined service at KPMG totalled more than 20 years.

Chartermarque has sought, and gained, accreditation as ‘Chartered Financial Planners’ also reflecting our commitment to meet and maintain the highest possible standards.

In common with other professions such as Chartered Accountants and Solicitors, our charges are fee based and transparent and can be on either a ‘time-cost’ or ‘fixed-fee’ basis.

Before undertaking any work we always set out in writing full details of the services to be delivered and the cost of those services.

We are entirely independent and directly regulated by the Financial Services Authority.”
